Terms & contributor content

DMV Pickleball (dmvpickle.org) is a free, community-built court register. Using it means you're okay with the following. Last updated July 2026.

Your contributions

You own what you submit. Ratings, reports, notes, photos, and event listings remain yours. By submitting, you give the register a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, format, and share that content on the site, in the newsletter, and in materials that promote the register — with your contributor credit attached where one exists.

Photos: only upload photos you took yourself. By uploading, you confirm they're yours and that they don't identify people in a way they'd object to. Photos are reviewed before publication and we may decline or remove any.

Honesty rule: submit what you actually observed. We remove content that's fabricated, promotional in disguise, or off-topic — the register is about pickleball, full stop.

Our data

Court information is compiled from official parks sources and player reports, verified on foot where marked. We work hard to keep it accurate, but conditions change — always use your own judgment. The register is provided as-is, without warranties, and we're not liable for a locked gate, a flooded court, or a full parking lot (report it, though — that's the system working).

Events

Event listings are submitted by organizers and reviewed before publication. The register isn't the organizer: registration, fees, refunds, and what happens on the court are between you and the event host. Community events are listed free.

Sponsors — the standing promise

Sponsorship is always clearly labeled and never touches ratings, rankings, or factual court data. If you ever see that line blur, call it out: hello@dmvpickle.org.

Removal & changes

Want your contribution or credit removed? Email us — done, usually same day. We may update these terms as the register grows; the date above always tells you the current version.
